שִׁ֥יר מִ֝זְמֹור לִבְנֵי־קֹֽרַח׃

Ψαλμὸς ᾠδῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Κορὲ δευτέρᾳ σαββάτου. Ψαλμὸς ᾠδῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Κορέ· δευτέρα σαββάτου.

1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

גָּ֘דֹ֤ול יְהוָ֣ה וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד בְּעִ֥יר אֱ֝לֹהֵ֗ינוּ הַר־קָדְשֹֽׁו׃

2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

יְפֵ֥ה נֹוף֮ מְשֹׂ֪ושׂ כָּל־הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ הַר־צִ֭יֹּון יַרְכְּתֵ֣י צָפֹ֑ון קִ֝רְיַ֗ת מֶ֣לֶךְ רָֽב׃

2 εὖ ῥιζῶν, ἀγαλλιάματι πάσης τῆς γῆς, ὄρη Σιὼν τὰ πλευρὰ τοῦ βορρᾶ, πόλις τοῦ βασιλέως τοῦ μεγάλου. 2 εὐρίζῳ ἀγαλλιάματι πάσης τῆς γῆς.

אֱלֹהִ֥ים בְּאַרְמְנֹותֶ֗יהָ נֹודַ֥ע לְמִשְׂגָּֽב׃


4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֣ה הַ֭מְּלָכִים נֹֽועֲד֑וּ עָבְר֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו׃

הֵ֣מָּה רָ֭אוּ כֵּ֣ן תָּמָ֑הוּ נִבְהֲל֥וּ נֶחְפָּֽזוּ׃

6 Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

רְ֭עָדָה אֲחָזָ֣תַם שָׁ֑ם חִ֝֗יל כַּיֹּולֵֽדָה׃

בְּר֥וּחַ קָדִ֑ים תְּ֝שַׁבֵּ֗ר אֳנִיֹּ֥ות תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃

8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God; God will establish it for ever. Selah.

כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר שָׁמַ֨עְנוּ ׀ כֵּ֤ן רָאִ֗ינוּ בְּעִיר־יְהוָ֣ה צְ֭בָאֹות בְּעִ֣יר אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ אֱלֹ֘הִ֤ים יְכֹונְנֶ֖הָ עַד־עֹולָ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃


9 We have thought of your lovingkindness, Oh God, in the midst of your temple.

דִּמִּ֣ינוּ אֱלֹהִ֣ים חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ בְּ֝קֶ֗רֶב הֵיכָלֶֽךָ׃

10 According to your name, Oh God, so is your praise unto the ends of the earth; your right hand is full of righteousness.

כְּשִׁמְךָ֤ אֱלֹהִ֗ים כֵּ֣ן תְּ֭הִלָּתְךָ עַל־קַצְוֵי־אֶ֑רֶץ צֶ֝֗דֶק מָלְאָ֥ה יְמִינֶֽךָ׃

10 κατὰ τὸ ὄνομά σου θεός, οὕτως καὶ αἴνεσίς σου ἐπὶ τὰ πέρατα τῆς γῆς, δικαιοσύνης πλήρης δεξιά σου. 10 κατὰ τὸ ὄνομά σου, Θεός, οὕτω καὶ αἴνεσίς σου ἐπὶ τὰ πέρατα τῆς γῆς· δικαιοσύνης πλήρης δεξιά σου.

11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of your judgments.

יִשְׂמַ֤ח ׀ הַר־צִיֹּ֗ון תָּ֭גֵלְנָה בְּנֹ֣ות יְהוּדָ֑ה לְ֝מַ֗עַן מִשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃

11 εὐφρανθήτω τὸ ὄρος Σιών, ἀγαλλιάσθωσαν αἱ θυγατέρες τῆς Ἰουδαίας ἕνεκεν τῶν κριμάτων σου κύριε. 11 εὐφρανθήτω τὸ ὄρος Σιών, ἀγαλλιάσθωσαν αἱ θυγατέρες τῆς Ἰουδαίας ἕνεκεν κριμάτων σου, Κύριε.

12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her; tell the towers of it.

סֹ֣בּוּ צִ֭יֹּון וְהַקִּיפ֑וּהָ סִ֝פְר֗וּ מִגְדָּלֶֽיהָ׃


13 Mark well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that you may tell it to the generation following.

שִׁ֤יתוּ לִבְּכֶ֨ם ׀ לְֽחֵילָ֗ה פַּסְּג֥וּ אַרְמְנֹותֶ֑יהָ לְמַ֥עַן תְּ֝סַפְּר֗וּ לְדֹ֣ור אַחֲרֹֽון׃


14 For this God is our God forever and ever; he will be our guide even unto death.

כִּ֤י זֶ֨ה ׀ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֱ֭לֹהֵינוּ עֹולָ֣ם וָעֶ֑ד ה֖וּא יְנַהֲגֵ֣נוּ עַל־מֽוּת׃
